ABSTRACT
The term "Individual Differences in Problem
Solving" could be defined as a series of results being from interactions subjective
innateness and objective environment. This study inclusively discussed individual
differences on problem solving from both traditional psychological points of view and that
of para-psychology. Three major paradigms were reviewed on problem solving problem;
Gestalt psychology,
Behaviorism, and cognitive psychology. Then, problem themselves on problem solving
research, relationship between problem solver's attribute and problem themselves, and
solving strategy for problem solving were investigated. From these investigations, we
could say the individual differences were partly related with GESP. Several ways of
research on relationship between the individual differences and GESP were suggested.
