ABSTRACT

In "Japan-China Joint Research on Anomalous Somatic Functions", the authors visited the Somatic Science Laboratory at Yunnan University, China in 1997. The authors were given a chance to attend a screening test for subjects. The test was done at a primary school in Yunnan; Longxiang Xiaoxue. 51 children tried to recognize targets written on a rolled paper inserted to their ears for about 2 hours. Total number of trials is 179, and the number of trials for a person is from 0 to 10; average is 3.5 trial/person. 18 trials were considered as hits, and averages were 0.1 hit/trial. However, researchers of Yunnan judged that this result was not good.
